Emergency First Aid Training for Wisma Cheshire
The ability to conduct emergency first aid is essential knowledge to have and this March, Wisma Cheshire was honored to receive training from RS Premier Bintaro. The training was supported by the British Women’s Association, which hopes to help all the yayasan that it supports to be equipped with a basic medical first aid kit, as well as the skills and knowledge to perform first aid in emergencies.
On 8th March, Dr. Lanny and two emergency response medics from RS Premier Bintaro explained basic emergency responses including what to do if someone is bleeding, drowning or has broken bones. They also demonstrated CPR, and helped Wisma Cheshire members practise these skills so that they would have the confidence to put their knowledge into practice in an emergency.
The training went well and all the participants learned valuable lessons about first aid. It was such a pleasure to welcome RS Premier Bintaro to Wisma Cheshire and we are extremely grateful to them for sharing their knowledge with us and hope that there will be more training sessions like this in the future.
