Annisa Rahmania

Annisa Rahmania (Nia) has almost completed her course at Trisakti University where she studies visual communication design. She is one of the members of Young Voices Indonesia as someone who has a hearing impairment. Despite this, she is very active promoting disability rights through performing arts, especially Indonesian traditional dance. Furthermore, she successfully received an award sponsorship from the Cultural Affairs Office of the US Embassy in Jakarta which allowed her to attend the DanceAbility workshop in Yogyakarta in 2013. She was also selected to be a Indonesian Youth Delegate to speak at the UK Parliament on World Disability Day in London in 2013.
